again it's a four-to-one mix and it's got some concentrated feb in if it looks different to any mortar you've ever mixed it's because it might be because of the fan in grade of sand up here in the north I mean North you see are not I mean mom start laying this side and we're scraping again remember he's treating that about a martyr with a gentle Farrah all right actually have to one and yet the idea yeah just to say I'm getting any mortar squids in there just slab that I it will squeeze front to back but just to keep it clear of that and I'll just get some cuts done now I'm going to start off with a half and I've got it but I'm just gonna have the end face and it was because then you're always going to do nice neat face you know I mean so uniform uniformed half all the time place that in there and then we're down to the line right so I'm just looking at the line I'm just pushing no pushing down and then I'm gonna scrape that off and now I just like because I wanted to be quite accurate try and keep it virtually that's close to the line as I can possible without it touching if that makes sense you man seen some other videos where they suggest like putting a piece of paper over a 20-pound know what we're from Wiggles so we're gonna we're gonna use a tie over all right so you want to nice gap in there so it's not touching the line I put my electric on a nice giant and now Elaine backwards this time saw the flick is in front of us so just just it's just in the odd bit of pressure yeah what I'll say before is the reason why give the twink the reason why you're not supposed to put it touching it so you get a good reading from the line all the time because if you can imagine I'll just try and demonstrate here if we see the line and they go oh yeah we've got to let that line and then you keep laying to it it's touching and as we go along it's touching it's touching yeah you keep nudging the deliah noting you you won't notice well you know if you're just beginning you won't notice but that's why we leave it off by a paper width and you give it a twang every now and again so you know it's it's right between the next brick and then pushing that again down to the line couple of Wiggles and then try and catch that top bit as well it's quite tricky on the first course because you'll you're actually on top of the line what I mean is easier as you come up then you can I in better so so the idea is keep that the bottom of this brick in line with this top of the block cuz you're right so that's right we got okay send there with that just give it a bit of a nod Java and then we can put that and break in everything excess goes back on your board as I've said previously make sure it's bang on before you move your lineup right okay so up to the next pencil mark which is that 150 gauge mark we always gauge and remember from their level and which is that one just double-check that maybe back Oh what you can do just to help you as well hit the profile and then go down keep it tight with that profile and then gentle wiggle into there and if you need to just treat that next one the next one we're going to do that wiggle again and then just push it to the line but to sell off our next bricks or just get back on there on that half ponder of that brick and then pressing down and it's real loose action when you know you just the trolls just hanging in my hand it's just like so loose the trail when I'm sniffing like that because if it's if it's rigid you may get caught on the on the edges of the bricks are just dead loosen your hands virtually just waving around and then just virtually and then our last brick and we're going to be all care for our last brick yep doesn't need bottling does it so I'll just push that in there again just tapping it down to the line and then excess back on the board I'm gonna check that do is tranq put your line up before you spread because then you'll when you scrape enough you'll get it against your iron and your mount goes all on the edges of the brick tried it before done it before no spread a martyr and again let's get in that go on the top panel a half on the into the line [Applause] you don't need to butter it again just try and get away from that we'd still need a bit on not on where well now we can got a bit to play with her you squall okay we don't need a butcher on this so make sure when you set into work session up but it works brick lengths and you can check it on your brick Mitch dang it line up line up Gerald Lane up some coming on no just take your time with it like I'm doing we'll take your time no serve it my calendar me I see if you're spreading if you're right under than you spread in from the right side to left side it's more difficult because you've got you you've got your land to contend with more rather than this where you see I can spread down there like this and then I'm hardly touching the line I could even move on do it that but whereas you know it's very hard I mean I'm not working with anybody so it doesn't really matter but you want to try and avoid the line really if you're working with somebody else so you could train it's good practice just to try and avoid the line as much as you can otherwise you'll get railroaded off your mate you're working with Judith alone I'm going to go over the top should really do that one I'm just what to again don't up right left to the profile and then we go to the line become break Jared oh my gosh Oh Thalia bricks on top of each other no try again how it was there - in half that way boom shaped she's getting late in the DNA and to the profile and don't align if you're gonna do that but I just did I just pulled the excess back on the next brick rather than throw it on your board you doing it with the tip you troll so again you're thinking about not catching the line so you can be done No so this like that and like that Dave touch the line he can be done he's got to go out at different angles to some wall i doing that where and all the way this way just keeping that half pond nice you looking at always looking below what you're laying keeping the perps in line yep straight back comes creeping forward here collecting the excess well you know you cannot you can screw it back as well oh she's coming off they eat and start using the Sally's trouble when you lower down you want to use the back side just easier because it's natural into it to the profile and down to the line going to go over to the profile gentle pressure nice full joint squeeze it in the two bricks to go and we're gonna let these four words thing that laughs your descrip looks pretty good a couple of things to note is as you lay into the topless as you lay into the Lyonya the top of the brake needs to go to the line obviously and the bottom of the brick has to go to the top of the brick below it if that makes sense then you know you're gonna have an ass straight face playing and they're all gonna be aligned together so you get a nice flat face and then you bond you just down your bond over the make sure you've you're always working to brick length that'll make your life easier to start off with and don't go brick on brick like I did before wait that one's from town to town we've all done it all right then thanks a lot guys thanks for watching appreciate it I'll finish it in the next one all right I'll do birds beak double strike All Right see you later Cheers
